Overview: Christiane’s Wine Bar is seeking a versatile, detail-oriented team member to join our back-of-house crew. This role blends food prep and plating with hands-on support for service and dishwashing. Ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and takes pride in presentation, cleanliness, and guest experience. Key Responsibilities:  Culinary Prep & Plating • Prepare and assemble flatbreads, charcuterie boards, and small plates with consistency and visual appeal • Portion and arrange meats, cheeses, fruits, and garnishes to match brand standards • Execute prep tasks including chopping, portioning, and ingredient organization • Assist with inventory rotation and restocking 識 Dishwashing Assistance & Clean-Up • Support the dishwashing process by helping to clean and sanitize dishware, glassware, and kitchen tools efficiently and thoroughly • Maintain a clean and organized dish station, ensuring supplies are stocked and ready for service • Assist with back-of-house cleanliness, including surface wiping, trash removal, and spill management • Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely access to clean items during peak hours 六‍ Server Assistant Duties • Bus and reset tables with speed and care • Refill water, clear plates, and assist servers during busy shifts • Restock service stations with utensils, napkins, and glassware • Help polish glassware and prep bar items as needed • Keep dining and prep areas clean, organized, and guest-ready Qualifications: • Prior experience in food prep, dishwashing, or restaurant support preferred • Strong work ethic and attention to detail • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure • Food Handler’s Certification (or willingness to obtain) • Team player with a positive attitude and pride in their work Bonus Points: • Passion for food presentation and guest experience • Interest in wine and pairings • Creative eye for plating and board design
