Compensation: is open to discussion typically 14.00 ph + some tips for the host/cahsier postion and 2.50 ph + tips for eservers You may go home with lots of cash in hand daily - take pride in what you do and have fun at work! We're A Milwaukee favorite for Japanese cuisine and we're looking to hire waitstaff, and hosts as we enter our busy season of spring and summer! Are you an energetic, friendly, loyal customer service oriented individual? If so, we're interested in meeting with you! We're currently searching to fill a few select positions with-in the front of the house staff. Hours available may range from part to full-time dependent on flexibility of those we hire. Service is fast passed and involves maintaining a strong menu knowledge of Japanese cuisine. We strongly prefer those with previous sushi knowledge/experience, but we are also willing to train the right candidate! Fulltime availability 3-5 days a week is preferred. WEEKEND (Friday Saturday evenings) availability is a MUST. Business hours during the pandemic are form 1130am-9pm, Ability to work full days are again preferred, but some early shifts only, and evenings only are available, - again WEEKEND availability is mandatory. Hosts must maintain strong menu knowledge and a working knowledge of the pos system. JOB TITLE: Host/Cashier Providing greeting services and of take out food in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner resulting in the best customer satisfaction. Basic duties include but are not limited to: 1. Proper set-up and cleanliness of service station before, during, and after shift. 2. Greet guests in a timely, courteous manner and explain all specials, promotions as needed. 3. Smile, and be positive and function as part of the team. 4. Take orders, recite selection of food menu items when needed - this will require memorization skills. 5. Input orders into point of sale system in a timely fashion/box and bag orders for tale outs. 6. Basic computer skills, and a strong ability for customer service over the phone is a must - as the position entails taking phone/imputing online orders. 7. Perform all assigned side work and complete daily checklist. 8. Perform general cleaning tasks, use standard cleaning products as assigned by your supervisor to adhere to health standards. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 1. A basic knowledge of food and beverage service. 2. Ability to read English sufficiently to understand menus and special promotions, speak and write to communicate with the guests, and take orders. 3. Ability to remember, recite, and promote a variety of menu items. 4. Dependable transportation to arrive on time and ready to work. 5. Must adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests to ensure all laws are being followed. 6. Maintain a positive attitude throughout shift. 7. Work as a team player. 8. Ability to remain motivated during busy and/or any slow periods within shift. 9. Cash handling and self-banking position, requires ability to maintain funds, and accurately count back change when needed. 10.
