We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient seating arrangements. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Must be able to work Friday nights. Some serving experience is a bonus. Responsibilities Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with a warm welcome. Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient flow of guests to tables. Answer phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations and providing information about the restaurant. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host area. Assist in guest relations by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for managing reservations and orders as needed. Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service throughout the dining experience. Qualifications Previous host/hostess experience preferred, with a strong background in food service or restaurant operations. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent phone etiquette. Experience in hospitality or hotel services is a plus. Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with guest relations practices and serving techniques is beneficial.
